The SS316L resistive wire is becoming more and more popular in the world of vaping, it differs from the Kanthal and the NI80 by the fact that it is slightly less resistive.
Therefore with equivalent numbers of turns the value of the resistance is lower.
You can therefore increase the number of turns to stay on the same level of resistance as if you had done it with Kanthal and thus have a better distribution and heating surface of your liquid.
