The Caliburn G2 comes in a range of different colors and is finished with easy-to-hold ribbed aluminum alloy, but retains the same shape and size as the original. Likewise, it retains the capability to vape either by pressing and holding down the fire button or by simply inhaling while the device is active.

The battery is increased from 690mAh to 750mAh. Wattage is increased from 15 watts to 18 watts, still allowing users to vape with the restricted mouth-to-lung inhale they prefer, but also providing just a little more of a hit.

The biggest upgrade is in the pod, however. Instead of replacing the pod completely each time, coils are now removable with the Caliburn G2 which means you can keep the same pod and just replace the coil. Keep multiple pods going at the same time now if you enjoy running different flavors - it's simple! Packs of coils are available separately.

You can also now switch the way the pod is facing to change the airflow. The two settings are either very restricted, similar to the original Caliburn G, or restricted mouth-to-lung, which is new to the Caliburn G2. Pods for the Caliburn G2 only compatible, so these upgrades can only be obtained by purchasing the Caliburn G kit. The coils self are crossing compatible.

Charging on the device has switched from Micro USB to super-fast USB-C.

These are welcome upgrades to what has been a spectacular success for Uwell, and rightly so. The Caliburn is the most popular pod kit on the market, due to its simplicity and elegance. It retains these features in the Caliburn G2, but gives you several improvements.
